This page describes the public website and the iPhone app. The Real Route plans a Vietnam route. It does not create an account, and it does not take payment.

On your iPhone

Planning inputs, saved routes, bookings you record, notes, tasks, estimates, and expenses stay in the app on the phone. A draft kept while you change nights, and a note of whether the introductory guide has been shown, stay there too. The Real Route does not keep a route account or a copy of that plan on a server.

Email you choose to send

The website address is support@therealroute.app. A message to that address includes your email address and the text you write.

In the app, Feedback opens your email app. The message is addressed to therealrouteapp@gmail.com. It includes the route you were looking at: the days, the places, and the answers that produced that route. The Real Route receives that information when you send the email.

What is not collected

This website does not set cookies and does not run analytics. The app does not send usage or crash reports to The Real Route. A cost you record is stored on the phone. It does not charge a card.

Links and sharing

If you choose to compare stays on Hostelworld or Booking.com, search Google Maps, open a link you saved, or share a route, your phone leaves the app for the place you picked. The stay and map searches use the place name. They are ordinary searches, not affiliate links. The site or app you open applies its own terms. Details are on the Affiliate Disclosure.

Typefaces on this website

These pages load Fraunces and Source Sans 3 from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser requests those files from Google. The Real Route does not receive a copy of that request.

Apple

If you install the app through TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect diagnostics under Apple’s own terms. That collection is Apple’s. It is not an analytics product run by The Real Route.
